ADAM CALDWELL
COVERAGE
NOVEMBER 15–DECEMber 20
We’re excited to welcome San Francisco artist Adam Caldwell for his first exhibition with the gallery.
Presented as an imperfect yet urgent response, this body of work arises from an acute concern about the cultural and political trajectory of the United States.
Activism. Environmentalism. Ethnicity. Inclusion. Minority. Refugee.
Each piece begins with a single word that has been removed from U.S. federal websites, using that erasure as a conceptual seed. Through layered mark-making and visual reconstruction, Caldwell’s images gives form to what is being suppressed, offering a deeply personal and politically attuned meditation on resistance.
